JAMES PORTEOUS WOOD, R.S.W. . . . was trained at Edinburgh College of Art. In 1945 he became the youngest elected member of the Royal Scottish Watercolour Society. His murals and paintings are held in many of the worlds premier collections including royal and Presidential Palaces in Africa and the Middle and Far East. For the past 50 years his work has reguarly appeared in the National Press and for 25 years he was Artist and Designer in residence for Aspreys of Bond Street.
